Lizzy has been training me to get in shape for my wedding. I love running but I’d let my diet and exercise slip since getting tendonitis, so it was about time I did something about it!
I’d previously ruled out PT as I thought I couldn’t afford it, but the things I have learnt with Lizzy has definitely changed the way I look at diet and exercise for good. Lizzy listens to what kind of lifestyle you have and your preferences, so that she can tailor a plan that will really work for you, that is easy to follow and realistic.
I hate public gyms due to being self-conscious, and money is tight due to saving for the wedding, so Lizzy designed me a plan that I could do at home that incorporates the exercises I like most, like running and cycling, as well as weights. She’s also great on nutrition advice – I love my food and cooking, but Lizzy’s approach is great because it is flexible – she gives guidance on do’s and don’ts rather than strict rules, which I found really appealing and easy to put into practice.
When you hit a rough patch Lizzy is great too – she is not judgmental and really supports you to get back on track without beating yourself up. So far I have lost over a stone in weight, but I really don’t feel like it’s about the weight anymore. I feel so much better and happier than ever and I feel like I’ve made a change for life. I will definitely be continuing PT with Lizzy after the wedding is over. Thank you Lizzy!
